Bio

Elisabeth J. Levy is a Photographer based in Bethel, CT. A lifelong Artist, Elisabeth has been utilizing her camera to express her unique view of the world since she was 16 years old. In 2004, the Aldrich Museum and The Ridgefield Guild of Artists named Elisabeth one of the Northeast’s Best Emerging Artists.

Elisabeth is known for her warm and personal images that seem to reflect the true essence of her subjects — be they flowers, water, animals, or people. One of the common themes running throughout Elisabeth’s work is a profound appreciation for the quality and emotion of Light.

Elisabeth believes passionately in the essential role Art plays in society and strives to inspire and comfort people with her work as well as to try to increase her audience’s appreciation of the often unnoticed beauty in the world around them and in their own lives as well.

Elisabeth exhibits her work in solo and group shows in a diverse selection of venues ranging from the Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield, CT to the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA with many small local galleries and public buildings in between.
